Day 1:
Guests are met at the airport at 12h15 and transferred to Nungwi by vehicle. Vehicle will have cold mineral water to offer guests on arrival. The estimated time of arrival at Nungwi is around 14h00 where we board the boat.
After a welcome cocktail and skippers briefing, guests can enjoy a light lunch and then set about exploring their cabins and the boat or simply lounge around relaxing on the trampolines while captain and crew slip the mooring and depart on this exciting Zanzibar Yacht Charter for Mnemba Island, approximately a 2 hour sail. We anchor at Mnemba for a late afternoon dive/snorkel, sundowners and a dinner on board. We anchor here overnight allowing guests a good nights sleep and rest after their travels.
Day 2:
After an early morning dive/snorkel/kayak and breakfast, we set sail for Njao Gap fishing the famous Pemba Channel en route and arriving at Njao Gap in the late afternoon. There is also a good chance at encountering bottlenose dolphins as well as large pods of spinner dolphins spiralling up and out of the water!
Once at Njao Gap we anchor for sundowners, dinner and overnight in one of the most beautiful anchorages in East Africa! A night dive in the lagoon area is also a fun option here.
Day 3:
After breakfast guests can go ashore for a walk through the stunning Ngezi Rainforest to stretch their legs a bit. They might be lucky enough to get a glimpse of the Pemba Flying Fox. (Large Bat).
Other options include a dive/snorkel in the Gap. Once back on board we head south fishing/sailing our way down to Fundu Gap where we will anchor for lunch. A dive at Fundu Gap is highly recommended before heading down to Uvinje Gap to anchor for sundowners, dinner and overnight stay.
Day 4:
An early morning kayak around these islands or a dive/snorkel is definitely in order after a hearty breakfast we head south for Mesali Island where we anchor for lunch (BBQ on the beach).
After lunch guests will have the opportunity to dive and snorkel some fantastic reefs in this conservation area or lie on the beach and work on their tans, swimming, kayaking and snorkeling etc. They will be able to go ashore and explore the island in time to get back for a sundowner and a BBQ dinner on the beach. Hopefully they will get to see the large coconut crabs that scuttle about on the island at night.
Once back on board and everyone has settled in, captain and crew will weigh anchor at approximately 10pm and depart for a night crossing back to Nungwi, Zanzibar. Guests can lie on the trampolines and stargaze before heading down to their cabins to get some sleep.
